We are soon to see and hear the carols of the season, with all the commercialism associated with various sales, discounts and specials. But the mentioning of the birth of Jesus into this world has good results for the whole world. In fact, many years ago a physician named Luke, described the pronouncment of that event by an Angel in chapter 2 of his book. “Don’t be afraid. I’m here to announce a great and joyful event that is meant for everybody, worldwide: A Savior has just been born in David’s town, he is the Savior . . . ." The Message Bible Luke 2:10-11. This great joyful event is The Gospel, the Good News that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world-the whole world! Some may say, "I don't need a Savior or I don't want a Savior." Well, the Good News is that you have a Savior, we all do. Now a more thoughtful question. . . What will you do with Him, with this Good News?
